I am really proud to be in the position of Managing Director in this Family business. Since my father started this company and invented the Airmax product I am the second generation leading this business. Since the start of our company in 2002 a lot of clinical researches have been done and Airmax is shown to be a proven breathing device and being among the best options available in the market.
Airmax has been undergoing a healthy growth over the last few years. The online sales is growing huge but retail is still our biggest sales market so we are always looking for appropriate and motivated partners and resellers which we want to build a sustainable and personal relationship with.
Airmax BV started as a company in 2002. After three long years of research and development we proudly presented our first product onto the market in 2005: Airmax, a product to relieve nasal congestion. Airmax is a medical device that ensures its users to breathe more freely through the nose. Airmax it’s proven efficacy is based on the mechanical widening of the narrowest part of the nose, from the inside of the nose.

The Airmax is a well-developed product in the field of nasal dilators.The shape of the Airmax has been developed by airflow experts and its positive effects have been tested and proven by ENT doctors. Airmax nasal dilator has been used in multiple clinical studies over the last years. Airmax is a nasal dilator made of a soft, odorless and medically certified compound (S.E.B.S.). By inserting Airmax into the nose, the narrowest part of the nasal passage is dilated. Airmax it’s pushing force is very effective and increases the inflow area for air. This ensures better airflow while making Airmax extremely comfortable to wear. The Airmax is ideal to use when suffering from nasal congestion due to snoring,asthma, pregnancy snoring, narrowed airways, colds and hay fever. The Airmax is also available as a sport version for endurance sports and daily exercise. The only difference between the classic and sport are two small barbs on the inside of the Airmax to prevent the Airmax from falling out during your exercise.
Airmax nasal dilator is available in two sizes: small and medium. Most of the Airmax users (80%) use the medium sized dilator. The difference between the sizes small and medium is a 5 mm difference in width.
I have developed the Airmax device at the request of some patients. Since I was involved, business wise, in both a designing studio and an injection molding company I was able to combine both talents and experiences to develop and produce this product.
